The title comes from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." With all my heart I want to live a life that pleases God, loving Him and others, especially my husband, John, and our daughter, Kate, born in August 2008. One very important aspect of this is what kind of home environment I create for us. I do not work outside of the home and we have a pretty minimal income. I enjoy coming up with creative ways to spend less money in order to make things my family needs and enjoys. I would love to not only share what I am learning about homemaking but also what God is teaching me through His Word, especially as it applies to womanhood.
